2026 WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS HARAMBEE STARS SQUAD

Harambee stars' head coach Beni McCarthy has named his 23 man squad for the upcoming world cup qualifiers matches against Gambia and Seychelles.
Just few days after exiting the 2024 CHAN tournament, some of the key players for the CHAN debutants were not included. Midfielder Austin Othiambo who made a statement by scoring 2 goals for Kenya has not been selected. Mohamed Bajaber, Erick Marcelo Ouma have also missed out due to injuries.
Harambee stars will host Gambia at Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani on 5th of September before Seychelles on 9th September this year. Both matches will kick off at 4.00 pm EAT.
The team's current standing in Group F is 4th with 6 points trailing behind Ivory Coast (16 points), Gabon (15 points ), and Burundi (10 points).
