CYPRUS OPENS ITS EMBASSY IN NAIROBI

Cyprus has officially opened its embassy in Nairobi, on the 11th floor of the Piano Building, 171 Brookside Drive, Westlands, a moment that signals a promising chapter in Kenya’s bilateral journey. Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi was joined by H.E.Dr. Constantinos Kombos, the Foreign Affairs Minister of the Republic of Cyprus, to inaugurate the mission, a milestone that reflects the shared ambition to elevate Kenya-Cyprus relations to new heights.

 The opening of this embassy lays a firm foundation for deeper dialogue, expanded cooperation, and richer engagement between the two nations. It also underscores their collective resolve to unlock new opportunities for economic growth, tackle shared challenges, and foster meaningful people-to-people connections, building on the Memorandum of Understanding on Political and Diplomatic Consultations they signed earlier that day.

Minister Kombos praised Kenya’s welcoming and enabling environment, which continues to attract and support diplomatic missions as Nairobi grows into an influential regional hub for diplomacy and business alike.
