DEFEATING RUTO IN 2027 WILL BE A TOUGH CHALLENGE - MUDAVADI

Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi has refuted any chances of defeating President William Ruto come 2027.
During Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations in Malindi on Sunday, March 30, 2025, Mudavadi maintained that Ruto will be re-elected for a second term.

“I have been in politics for a long time, and I have looked at it, and I want to tell you it will be very difficult to beat William Ruto in 2027,” He said.

Mudavadi acknowledged the sovereignity of opinions but emphasised that defeating Ruto in the next elections will be a tough challenge.

“All these discussions are people’s right to express themselves, but I want to tell you it will be very difficult,” he said.

He termed the Ruto and Raila affiliation too potent for the opposition to beat.

“They have united in a broad-based way, and some people still think they can beat them,” he added.
