Fifty Shillings Turns Deadly

Police in Kisumu have arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal stabbing of a man following a dispute over Ksh.50 at the betting shop.

The victim, an unidentified student from the Kisumu Rotary Vocational Training Center located near Fanana area, sustained multiple stab wounds to the chest during altercation.

Tensions flared in the area Thursday evening when a group of youths attempted to seek revenge for the student's death.

Authorities acted swiftly to apprehend the suspect, identified as Faiba near the Kisumu bus park and successful dispersed the crowd.
He will face charges in court once investigations are complete.
