FKF TARGETS 2030 WORLD CUP FOR HARAMBEE STARS

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) President Hussein Mohammed has said the federation is working on long-term plans aimed at seeing the national team, Harambee Stars, qualify for the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
Speaking during a recent engagement, Mohammed noted that FKF is focusing on youth development, improving the standards of local competitions, and ensuring players gain exposure through international friendlies and tournaments.
He emphasized that the 2030 World Cup goal aligns with Kenya’s broader football vision, which also includes efforts to host the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
Kenya has never played at the World Cup, and achieving this target would mark a historic milestone for the country’s football.
