Former chief justice Dr Willy Mutunga has finally come out speaking, after former CS, Justin Muturi's claims linking president William Ruto to dubious corruption deals.
In response to a statement by Kenya Human Rights Commission, on how the president has been accused of corruption, Mutunga concurred with the remarks accusing politicians of playing lies and blame games instead of addressing issues facing the ordinary mwananchi.
"These people lie. You have no dog in this ethnic strife. The collective elite is to blame for the status quo the country finds itself in", he wrote.
Earlier in the day, former CS, Justin Muturi had accused President Ruto of being the mastermind behind the controversial Adani deal, Muturi stated that the president aimed at reaping profits from the deal. However, he ( Muturi) refused to ratify the deal. The former CS added that President Ruto is corrupt and not fit to hold the top office in the country.
