GOVERNMENT LAUNCHES 2025/2026 PUBLIC SERVICE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced the recruitment of interns for the 2025/2026 Public Service Internship Program (PSIP), targeting government ministries, departments, state agencies, corporations, and public universities. This initiative aims to empower college graduates by providing hands on experience, skill development, and networking opportunities to enhance their employability and entrepreneurship prospects. Eligible candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university no earlier than 2018, and demonstrate proficiency in computer skills. Interns will be assigned duties by their supervisors, document acquired skills, and participate in mentorship programs during the 12-month non-renewable program.

\Upon completion, interns will receive a certificate, and a monthly stipend will be provided throughout the internship. Applications must be submitted through the PSC’s job portal at www.publicservice.go.ke or www.psckjobs.go.ke by August 18, 2025. In addition, the PSC has opened 4,000 internship opportunities in the State Department for Housing and Urban Development across 41 disciplines, with similar requirements and a deadline of August 14, 2025. The Commission encourages eligible graduates to apply and take advantage of this career building opportunity.
