HOLLYWOOD STAR RECOUNTS A NARROW DEATH ORDEAL.

American actor, Samuel L Jackson narrated how he cheated death in an almost death encounter —where he was dragged by a subway train almost hitting a tunnel, but he fortunately got away.

“I got dragged by a subway train in New York in 1990,” he calmly revealed. “I got dragged by the A train," he said during a 'Mad, Sad and Bad Podcast ' with Paloma Faith on Tuesday.

The veteran actor recounted being caught in “middle door of the last car” in a “long-ass train station," when the door closed on his foot and the train began to move.

“I’m sitting there, thinking like, ‘Oh fuck, I’m going to die,’ because I could see the tunnel coming and I couldn’t figure out anything that i could grab or hold on to and get close to the train so that I wouldn’t get killed in the tunnel,” he sorowly recalled.

In an inexplicable event, the train paced down, Jackson could be able to free his foot and his life was redeemed.

Further investigations in Jackson's charges against the New York Transit System revealed that this was possible courtesy of a man on clutches, who staggered his way to the emergency cord and pulled it, impeding the train from ending Jackson's life.
Those on board attempted freeing his foot but the wisdom of the man in clutches worked promptly.

“Things slow down when you’re looking at death,” Jackson went.
