Lurambi Law Maker, Titus Khamala has warned Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang'ula of an impending move to dump them unless they adopt President William Ruto's political Modus Operandi .
Speaking on a Luhya vernacular radio station, he stated that Ruto would need proactive men in his political pursuits and their relevance would be proved on their ability to mobilize the western region to favour Ruto.
"If they do not unite with others like Wycliffe Oparanya so that we can build our formation from Western, so that when we go to Raila Odinga or Ruto, we do it as a united region; else they will not get anything in the next government; they won't even be considered for a board chairmanship," Khamala stated.
Focusing on the Ruto-Raila pact, Khamala predicted a post - 2027 period where Raila's men would replace the duo.
"If they don't come together, they will become irrelevant and unattractive because right now Ruto is pulling towards Raila. And Raila will come with a lot of value because he has a loyal base. His word is as good as law. The new dispensation in 2027 will have new faces. The late Mwai Kibaki had new faces in 2007, different from 2022. Even if Mudavadi is Prime CS today, in 2027, Ruto will ask him about what he will have brought, and he may not even pick his phone calls," he added.
