Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) journalist Fredrick Parsayo has been found dead at his home in Kinoo, Kikuyu Constituency.
The cause of his death remains unclear, and police have launched investigations to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident. His body was discovered on Friday morning, and authorities have since transferred it to St. Teresa Mortuary.
KBC confirmed Parsayo’s death in a statement, mourning the loss of their colleague and describing him as a dedicated journalist whose absence will be deeply felt.
Parsayo, who joined KBC in 2021 after studying Broadcast Media at the University of Nairobi, had been serving as a reporter in the editorial department.
His death comes years after the tragic killing of another KBC journalist, Betty Barasa, who was shot dead by suspected robbers at her home in Ngong, Kajiado County, in April 2021.
The media fraternity, along with family and friends, continues to mourn Parsayo’s passing as investigations into his death continue.
