KCB Bank has placed Eslon Plastics of Kenya Limited under receivership, bringing to an end the company’s 59 years of independent operation.
In a notice published on September 23, 2025, the bank appointed Joy Vipinchandra Bhatt as Receiver and Manager to take control of the firm’s assets and operations.
KCB warned that no dealings with Eslon’s property would be recognised without the Receiver’s written consent, cautioning against any transactions involving the company’s assets.
Eslon Plastics, founded in 1966, is a leading manufacturer of plastic pipes and fittings used in water, sewerage, irrigation and plumbing systems.
Receivership allows a secured creditor to take control of a company’s assets to recover debts, but does not necessarily mean KCB has purchased or permanently acquired the business.
