KIBERA COURT DENIES SARAH WAIRIMU BOND AGAIN

The High Court in Kibera has denied Sarah Wairimu Kamotho bond for the second time in connection with the murder of Dutch tycoon Tob Cohen.
Justice Diana Muchache ruled that Wairimu will remain in custody at Lang’ata Women’s Prison pending the hearing and determination of her case.
The judge cited concerns over potential witness interference and the gravity of the charges as key reasons for the decision.
Wairimu, the widow of Tob Cohen, is accused of playing a central role in the murder of the businessman whose body was discovered in a septic tank at his Kitisuru home in 2019.
The prosecution had strongly opposed her release on bail, arguing that she poses a flight risk and could tamper with evidence.
This is the second time the court has declined to release her on bond since her arrest.
