Moses Kuria, Senior Advisor on President William Ruto’s Council of Economic Advisors, has unveiled a plan to operate a tallying centre in Addis Ababa ahead of the African Union Commission (AUC) Chairperson election.
“From February 10 to D-Day on February 15, I will be camping in Addis Ababa to set up the official tallying centre,” Kuria wrote on X.
In order to safeguard Raila Odinga's votes, Kuria enlisted Jaro Soja and Dem Wa Facebook to manage the tallying centre in Addis and pledged to personally sponsor three other Raila supporters to join him in the Ethiopian capital.
“There are some people I cannot trust to protect Baba’s votes. They have failed to do so in the past. I will sponsor five Baba supporters to travel with me. First is my friend Jaro Soja. Second is Dem Wa Facebook. I am still looking for three more. Baba must win,” Kuria stated.
