MP SALASYA BEGINS HIS PRESIDENTIAL JOURNEY

Mumias East MP Peter Salasya has commenced his 2027 presidential journey by launching a power - packed campaign rally in Busia County.

The enthusiastic leader received a warm reception from his supporters, who were a
eagerly anticipating for this move .

Speaking to the locals on 1, May , Salasya expressed his bid as people oriented and bent towards brighter days for each Kenyan.
"This journey is not mine alone," he said with a smile. "It is for every Kenyan who believes in a brighter tomorrow."

He further highlighted his desire in mobilising the youths for economic and transformative change.
“At Ogalo in Busia County marks a pivotal moment in my grassroots mobilisation strategy, rallying young Kenyans under a bold vision of transformative leadership and economic empowerment,” he added.

The vocal law maker met with local leaders, boda boda riders, traders and students, enhancing his campaign around youth empowerment and addressing the day to day struggles of Kenyans.

Following his humble background, Salasya's echoed his passion for Kenya as the force behind his political uprising.
“I may not have everything, but I have love for this country—and that’s where we begin.”

He declared his bid on Monday, 28, April.
Taking to his official Instagram page, Salasya announced his desire to run for the Country's top seat , stating that his decision was arrived following intense consultations with his team.
"Fellow Kenyans, after deep reflections and careful considerations of the state of our nation, I, Peter Kalerwa Salasya, the Member of Parliament for the Mumias East constituency, hereby declare my intention to vie for the presidency of the Republic of Kenya in the 2027 general elections,” he declared.
