Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has called for an immediate cessation of hostilities in Gaza, describing the ongoing war as a human tragedy that must be stopped urgently.
In a statement posted on his official X account (@MusaliaMudavadi), Mudavadi mourned the loss of innocent lives and emphasized the urgency of ending the bloodshed.
“Lives lost cannot be compensated, that's why the conflict must come to an end immediately,” he stated.
The Prime Cabinet Secretary expressed Kenya’s deep concern over the escalating humanitarian crisis in the region and called on the international community to intensify efforts toward a ceasefire and lasting peace.
Mudavadi’s comments come as the death toll in Gaza continues to rise amid ongoing bombardments and ground offensives, drawing global outrage and urgent appeals for diplomatic intervention.
Kenya joins other nations and humanitarian organizations in urging all parties involved to respect international law, protect civilians, and pursue dialogue over violence.
