MYSTERY OF PARCEL CONTAINING HUMAN FINGERS AND SIX BULLETS DELIVERED IN ELDORET

Police in Eldoret have launched investigations after a man received a grisly parcel containing three human fingers and six live bullets.
The bizarre incident occurred on Friday August 8, 2025, after the recipient was contacted by an unknown caller who arranged for a motorcycle courier to deliver the package. The man, who opened the parcel while at a bar, was shocked to find the severed forefinger, ring finger, and little finger from a left hand, tied together with the bullets.
Authorities transferred the fingers to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary for forensic verification, while the bullets were taken for ballistic testing.
Uasin Gishu County police said the sender’s identity remains unknown, and detectives are pursuing leads to establish the source of the package and its intended message.
“This is a very unusual case and we are treating it with the utmost seriousness,” an officer involved in the probe said.
The motive for the chilling delivery has not yet been determined.
