The National Youth Opportunities and Training Authority (NYOTA) has released a mandatory notice to all successful applicants of its flagship empowerment program.
NYOTA has directed the selected youth to attend a compulsory Business Skills Training, a prerequisite for receiving the promised business capital support.
The agency stressed that the program is entirely free of charge, warning applicants to be wary of fraudsters demanding fees. Official communication will be made through the phone number used during application, and a toll-free helpline 0800 222 221 has been provided for inquiries.
NYOTA further cautioned that failure to attend the scheduled training will lead to automatic forfeiture of the opportunity.
The nationwide initiative aims to equip young people with entrepreneurial skills, a key step toward economic empowerment and job creation.
