Investigations are being carried out following the death by suicide of a 24-year-old man in Muhoroni sub-county, Kisumu county, on Tuesday night.
Kennedy Otieno Jaoko’s body was found dangling from the rafter of his room with a note citing a pending defilement case against him.
According to police, the note detailed the stress he had been undergoing due to the ongoing court case against him.
In the note, the deceased also apologized to his wife over his actions, telling her not to worry since she was well aware of what drove him to take his own life.
Jaoko also listed in the note a total of seven mobile numbers belonging to his family members whom he said could be reached.
