TSC DEREGISTERS 15 TEACHERS OVER MISCONDUCT

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has permanently struck 15 teachers off the national register, barring them from teaching in any Kenyan school with immediate effect.
In a gazette notice dated 19 September 2025, the commission said the educators were removed under Section 30(2) of the TSC Act after being found guilty of various forms of professional misconduct.
TSC warned that the affected teachers are no longer allowed to engage in teaching unless formally reinstated. Their names, TSC numbers, case references and dates of removal were published in the notice.
The commission reiterated that deregistration is the ultimate penalty for teachers who breach the professional code of conduct.
