"ANAVAA KOTI KUBWA , KUNIKOSEA HESHIMA" , GACHAGUA ACCUSED OF DISMISSING KK

About a day after the unprecedented death of comedian Zakaria Kariuki alias KK, Mathira Law Maker Eric Wamumbi had come out accusing the former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua of turning a cold shoulder on his stunt dubber.

Taking to his Facebook account, the MP alleged that he once approached Gachagua to help foot KK's university fees and then provide him a job– by virtue of his comic talent.

"On 3rd November 2022, this guy was fundraising for his university school fees, I approached you and showed you his content, he was imitating your speeches.'

"I requested you to pay his fees and give him a job in your office, what did you tell me? " Wamumbi added.

The MP who succeeded Rigathi Gachagua's parliamentary role further stated that Gachagua had viewed KK's content as demeaning to him as deputy president – the oversized coats he used to dub with imitating Gachagua's dressing code.

"You said that kijana ni takataka anavaa koti kubwa na hio ni kukukosea heshima, " which loosely translates; "You said that the young man is trash he puts on oversized coats and that is disrespectful to you ."

In the stead Gachagua decided to assist the lady who had initiated his infamous name Riggy G'

"I pleaded with you that it was just content creation and that is the time you told your PA to look for the girl who had coined the name "Riggy G", Wamumbi wrote.

"This one you remember na huwezi kataa, Mr. Truthful man," he concluded .

Gachagua tributed the late KK as resilient, consistent and creative in delivering messages to Kenyans.
However, his remarks faced criticizism from Kenyans who felt that Gachagua had overlooked the comedian while he was alive.

KK mwenyewe passed away on Monday,14 night at Kiambu level 5 hospital after a short illness.
