BABU OWINO DENIES DRINKING IN VIRAL PHOTO WITH RUTO’S SON

Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has dismissed claims linking him to a recently circulated photo showing him drinking alcohol alongside President William Ruto’s son.
Owino clarified the picture was taken in 2018, long before he quit drinking. He maintained he has been sober since January 17, 2020, and the image “does not reflect who I am today.”
The legislator added that his personal transformation informs his political ambitions, vowing to replicate the discipline in his quest for the Nairobi governorship in 2027.
Owino urged Kenyans to focus on current issues rather than “outdated” images meant to tarnish his reputation.
