CHAN TICKET PRICES HIKED AHEAD OF QUARTERFINAL CLASH

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced an increase in ticket prices for the quarterfinals of the ongoing African Nations Championship (CHAN), with Kenya set to face Madagascar this Friday August 22, 2025, at Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani.
Regular tickets will now cost KSh 250, up from KSh 200 during the group stages, while VIP and VVIP tickets remain unchanged at KSh 500 and KSh 1,000 respectively.
CAF confirmed that ticket sales open today, Tuesday, August 19, at noon, as fans gear up for what promises to be a highly charged knockout match. However, the confederation has yet to clarify whether full stadium capacity will be allowed or if the earlier restriction of 27,000 seats will remain in place due to security concerns.
The Friday showdown will be Kenya’s first CHAN quarterfinal appearance, with thousands of supporters expected to throng Kasarani to cheer on the Harambee Stars.
