FANS DISAPPOINTED AFTER MASHEMEJI DERBY ENDS IN A BARREN 0-0 DRAW
Fans appeared dissatisfied as the Mashemeji Derby Ends in a goalless draw. The sunday afternoon game was well-attended at the Nyayo National Stadium .
This barren outcome hampers Gor's title defence race as Kenya Police and Tusker FC both won their games this weekend .
After the derby stalemate, Gor Mahia are now third with 43 points but have a game in hand than the first two while Ingwe are fifth with 37 points.
In attendance was former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja who came to witness the 96th Mashemeji Derby.
