The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has rubbished reports claiming it removed over 2 million ghost voters from the voter register.
In a statement, the commission clarified that it currently has no Chairperson or Commissioners, and therefore any information circulating online is false, misleading, and should be ignored.
The IEBC emphasized that no official decisions or operations can be undertaken in the absence of a properly constituted commission.
This comes amid growing online speculation about alleged voter register clean-ups ahead of the 2027 polls.
