NAROK SCHOOL CLOSED INDEFINITELY AFTER STUDENT FOUND MURDERED

Narok Adventist Primary and Junior Secondary School has been closed indefinitely after a 14-year-old Grade Nine student was found murdered in the dormitory over the weekend.
According to Narok County Education Director Apollo Apuko, the closure is to allow police investigations into the shocking incident that has left the school community in grief. The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has taken over the case, and a school security guard has already been arrested in connection with the killing.
Reports indicate the boy’s body was discovered with injuries, and traces of blood were found in nearby washrooms. His body was later moved to Narok County Referral Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
The news sparked outrage among parents, some of whom stormed the school and set a dormitory on fire before police intervened. Narok County CEC for Education John Gatua condemned the killing, terming it unprecedented, and called for enhanced security measures in schools.
Investigations are ongoing as the community demands justice for the slain student.
