Stanbic Bank Kenya has been named Kenya’s Best Investment Bank in the prestigious 2025 Euromoney Awards for Excellence, affirming its dominance in the financial services sector.
The accolade recognizes the bank's strong performance in advisory services, structured finance, and capital market solutions. It comes as part of a wider continental recognition of the Standard Bank Group, which scooped multiple awards across Africa including Africa’s Best Investment Bank.
Speaking after receiving the award, Dr. Joshua Oigara, CEO of Stanbic Bank Kenya and South Sudan, said the recognition reflects the trust their clients place in them and the strength of their Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) team.
“We are proud to be recognised as Kenya’s Best Investment Bank. This award reflects the confidence our clients place in us and the hard work of our CIB team in delivering impactful solutions,” said Dr. Oigara.
Stanbic was praised for its role in structuring key deals in the infrastructure, energy, and manufacturing sectors, and for promoting inclusive growth through innovative financing models.
The Euromoney Awards for Excellence, now in their 33rd year, are among the most coveted global banking awards, highlighting institutions that demonstrate leadership, innovation, and consistent performance.
Stanbic Bank Kenya’s win cements its growing influence in shaping Kenya’s financial landscape and driving long-term investment in critical sectors of the economy.
