The World Health Organization (WHO) has opened an opportunity for eligible Kenyan vendors to submit bids for tenders to provide vehicle hire, hotel accommodation, conference, and catering services. According to an official WHO request for proposals (RFP), the Kenya office is seeking service providers to support its operational needs through;
Vehicle Hire (Rental) Services, referenced RFP/AFRO/KEN/006/2025, Hotel Accommodation, Conference Hire, and Catering Service, referenced RFP/AFRO/KEN/005/2025 The notice invites interested bidders to submit their proposals no later than 4:00 p.m. on September 2, 2025.
“Bidders can obtain the bidding document containing all the requirements and Terms of Reference by sending a request to: AFKENPROC@who.int.” read the notice.
Additional requirements listed in the notice specify that bidders must provide copies of Certificate of Incorporation, VAT registration, Trading Licenses, Registration and any relevant certifications.
They must also submit Letters of recommendation from reputable organizations, the latest bank statement, audited accounts, and a letter of credit from the bank. The WHO has outlined its general terms and conditions, including the reservation of the right to reject any bid and selecting the lowest evaluated bidder.
The notice states that only successful bidders will be notified in writing of the final bid decision.
All bids must be clearly marked with the respective bid references and sent via email to AFKENPROC@who.int or addressed to the WHO Representative at the World Health Organization, P.O. Box 45335-00100, Nairobi, Kenya, United Nations Office for Nairobi, Block P, Level 1.
The deadline for submission of bids is Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Kenya Time. This call represents an opportunity for Kenyan businesses to engage with an international health organization and contribute essential services in support of WHO’s mission in the region.
