TRUMP DIAGNOSED WITH CHRONIC VENOUS INSUFFICIENCY

President Donald Trump, 79, has been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) following a comprehensive medical evaluation, the White House announced on Thursday July 17, 2025.
The diagnosis came after a series of vascular studies and physical examinations conducted by the former president's medical team. CVI is a condition that affects the veins in the legs, impeding blood flow back to the heart and often leading to swelling, pain, or skin changes.
In a brief statement, the White House physician noted that while the condition requires ongoing monitoring and management, it is not currently expected to impair Trump's ability to carry out his public engagements.
"President Trump is in stable health and remains actively involved in his schedule," the statement read.
The announcement comes amid heightened public interest in the health of political figures as the 2024 U.S. election cycle continues to draw attention.
