AIR INDIA FLIGHT TO LONDON CRASHES NEAR AHMEDABAD AIRPORT
An Air India flight en route to London has reportedly crashed near Ahmedabad airport.
According to a statement from the State Police Control Room, the aircraft had 242 passengers on board at the time of the incident.
Video footage from the scene shows thick smoke rising from the Dharpur area near Meghaninagar, which is believed to be the crash site.
Emergency response teams have been dispatched to the location, and rescue operations are currently underway. Authorities have not yet confirmed the number of casualties or the cause of the crash.
